The Band Members

James “Copperhead” Curtis - Frontman/guitarst

Hailing from Louisiana James is the NEWEST member in the band. He’s the front man that is responsible for the band’s wild success over the past year. If you don’t believe it then just ask him. He’ll tell you. He’s a cocky, smart ass who rarely loads in any equipment but is the first to bitch about something not being to his liking. He is your typical lead singer devout of self awareness. He is very entertaining on a stage and once you catch a show you’ll see why he’s in this band. James now resides in Dothan, Alabama. His former bands are Missused, Dirty Pop and a slew of other ones you couldn’t care less about.

David Lynam - drummer

David is a fat slob who can’t play the drums that well but is entertaining to watch. David is most known from his band Lynam. He has toured the world playing in that band for a couple of decades and now has found his resting place in Get Sideways, where he will bear the brunt of the MOST criticism a human can endure. David lives in Trussville, AL and has called that home for as long as anyone can remember.

Jeff Allen - bass guitar

Founding member of this band Jeff was born and raised in Tarrant, Alabama. He now resides in the metropolis of Hamilton, AL where he picks mushrooms off of cow turds and eats them for nourishment. Jeff stammers and is a terrible musician but he’s a great hang and he is a founding member so we’re kind of stuck with him. Jeff’s former bands are In-between Worlds and his first ever band was called Allergic. Jacob Bunton was the guitarist in this band. It was their first band they ever played in.

Nick “Cobra” Mitchell - Guitar

Nick is also a founding member of the band. He resides in the huge city of Summiton, AL and is a country as a rattle snake. He’s not much into country music. He listens to instrumental bands. He maintains several bee hives and if that’s not absolutely psychotic enough he eats his steaks WELL DONE. He’s a savage. He is ONLY in this band b/c of his hair and his passion for driving us around the southeast.
